AEON

AEON is an industrial humanoid from Hexagon, based in Switzerland, standing about 1.65 m tall and weighing around 60 kg. Created to address labor shortages, this humanoid robot leans on Hexagon's measurement heritage to combine precise perception with capable manipulation.

It draws on Hexagon's world-class sensor suite with advanced multimodal sensor fusion to understand its environment and optimize tasks, and its high-accuracy locomotion and dexterity suggest advanced, high-precision actuators for exacting movement and manipulation. The closed software provides AI-driven mission control and spatial intelligence, using the NVIDIA Isaac platform for simulation and NVIDIA Isaac Lab for reinforcement learning.

That measurement-grade perception makes it well suited to manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, inspection and reality capture, and even space-exploration research, where accurate sensing and reliable handling combine to fill workforce gaps. Its ability to capture and interpret its surroundings with high fidelity lets it inspect, measure and manipulate in one integrated workflow.
