The AgiBot RAISE A1 is an AI-powered industrial humanoid from AgiBot of China, standing 1.75 m and weighing 55 kg. It is positioned as a workhorse for boosting throughput in logistics, manufacturing and warehousing, bringing dexterous manipulation to tasks that have resisted conventional automation.
The robot uses quasi-direct-drive actuators with high torque and a reverse-jointed knee design for enhanced leg articulation, while its SkillHand hands provide 12 active and 5 passive degrees of freedom for dexterous work. RGB-D cameras handle 3D vision, LiDAR builds 3D maps and detects obstacles, fingertip tactile sensors add touch, and microphones support voice interaction. The proprietary AimRT middleware and AI frameworks for perception, motion planning and control run a hybrid model-based and learned stack, with about 120 minutes of runtime per charge.
