AIMY

AIMY is an autonomous welcome and guidance robot from AeiRobot of South Korea, made to greet, inform and direct people in busy public spaces. Standing 1.5 m tall, it rolls on a quiet wheeled base and presents a friendly, approachable form for lobbies, showrooms and stores.

AIMY perceives its surroundings using depth, infrared and tracking cameras alongside laser sensors, combining multi-depth and motion sensing for robust navigation, and runs an impressive 480 minutes per charge. Precision servo motors animate expressive head and hand gestures, while wheeled-base actuators provide smooth, low-noise mobility. Its closed-source software fuses AI dialogue and gesture recognition with multi-modal sensor fusion and navigation, and a modular SDK supports hardware expansions and integrations, with dual displays for visual guidance.

As an interactive service robot, AIMY suits hospitality, retail, wayfinding, corporate events and exhibitions, and home assistance.
