AlphaBot 2

AlphaBot 2 is a general-purpose wheeled humanoid from AI-squared Robotics of China, notable for a waist-leg lifting mechanism that lets it work from floor level up to a 2.4 m overhead reach. Standing 1.8 m and weighing 135 kg, it is engineered for the exacting, high-cleanliness environments of advanced manufacturing.

Of its 34 total degrees of freedom, 22 belong to the body, with electric actuators throughout and an 8 kg dual-arm payload. It travels at 5.4 km/h and runs four to six hours per charge. Perception is thorough, drawing on three Intel RealSense D435 RGB-D cameras at head, chest and back, two D405 wrist cameras, chassis 2D LiDAR and per-arm 6-axis force/torque sensors. The AlphaBrain platform runs the GOVLA global and omni-body vision-language-action model on NVIDIA AGX Orin compute with 64 GB of memory.
