BARKAN 2

BARKAN 2 is an autonomous tracked military ground vehicle from HAVELSAN of Turkiye, built for combat support, reconnaissance and logistics. Standing about 1 m tall and weighing 750 kg, it is a compact, low-profile platform that can accompany dismounted forces and operate in terrain that is hazardous for personnel.

An electric propulsion system drives the vehicle, and it runs roughly 300 minutes per charge. Its sensor package includes EO/IR cameras, thermal imaging systems and GPS/INS for navigation and targeting, supporting day-and-night operation. The platform accepts modular payloads and offers swarm capability so multiple units can act in coordination, all managed through HAVELSAN's closed-source software.

As an unmanned ground vehicle, BARKAN 2 supports defence, reconnaissance, search and rescue, surveillance and telepresence missions.
