BDX Droids

BDX Droids are expressive, free-roaming bipedal robots created by Disney Imagineering in the United States, best known as the characterful droids that walk, emote and interact with guests inside Disney theme parks. Their entire design philosophy is built around personality and believable, lifelike movement.

They perceive their environment through RGB cameras and are powered by onboard NVIDIA computers that drive their responsive, animated behaviour, while deeper engineering details remain proprietary. What is published makes the priority clear, and as a bipedal robot the emphasis falls on expressive motion, timing and safe guest engagement rather than payload or industrial throughput, which is exactly what an entertainment platform is meant to deliver.
