Beomni is a humanoid platform from Beyond Imagination of the USA that blends autonomous AI with human teleoperation. It is built to take on a wide span of tasks, from delicate handling to heavier work, and to learn by watching how people perform them, so its skill set can grow over time.
The robot is equipped with high-precision actuators that drive dexterous hands with opposable thumbs and nimble fingers, capable of both heavy lifting and fine, careful tasks. Its sensing combines tactile sensors for haptic feedback, multiple vision sensors for object and environment recognition, and navigation sensors for obstacle avoidance. The proprietary Beomni AI brain supports learning by observation, task planning, haptic communication, multitasking and autonomous operation, and it can be operated remotely through VR-style teleoperation when a human touch is needed.
