Black Hornet 3 PRS

Made in the USA by Teledyne FLIR Defense, the Black Hornet 3 PRS is a nano-class reconnaissance drone weighing just 0.3 kg. Pocket-sized and near-silent, it is built to give dismounted soldiers and small teams immediate, covert situational awareness, slipping into places larger aircraft cannot reach without alerting anyone nearby to its presence.

The aircraft carries a 12 MP daytime EO camera, a thermal imager for night and low-visibility work, and a software-defined radio for encrypted communication with its operator. It runs a closed-source system and provides around 25 minutes of flight endurance per sortie, enough to scout ahead, inspect a building or check a route before people commit to moving.
