Borg 01 is a 1.73 m, 62 kg modular humanoid built in Detroit by Borg Robotics of the USA. Its defining trait is versatility of movement: it can switch between walking and wheeled modes to match the demands of different industrial environments, choosing efficiency on smooth floors and agility on rough ground.
The robot handles loads of up to 12 kg using servo motors and actuators optimised for industrial strength and precision, working with interchangeable grippers and hands to suit varied tasks. Vision systems and proximity sensors support navigation and object recognition for safe operation in dynamic settings, while an onboard AI neural network manages task learning and adaptation, autonomous mobility and manipulation control, and battery and tool management. A battery runtime of roughly 360 minutes supports long working periods.
As a reconfigurable industrial humanoid robot, Borg 01 suits manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and home assistance, adapting its locomotion mode and end effectors to each job. Its modularity means one platform can cover several stations rather than being fixed to a single line.
Nexon System deploys the Borg Robotics Borg 01 across Southeast Asia, delivering commissioning, task and tool-change programming, and integration with WMS, MES and facility systems. Each project includes operator training and ongoing support and maintenance, so plants and warehouses can trial flexible humanoid automation and scale it across workflows.
