Last updated: 25 Mar 2026
BULUT is an autonomous vertical-take-off-and-landing UAV from HAVELSAN of Turkiye, built for defence, surveillance and search-and-rescue. At roughly 58 kg, it is a mid-weight platform that pairs vertical launch with a useful payload capacity for carrying mission-specific sensors.
An electric propulsion system drives the aircraft, which carries up to a 5 kg payload. Its sensor suite features EO/IR/LRF integrated pro cameras for observation and ranging, anti-jamming CRPA GNSS for resilient navigation, and collision-avoidance sensors for safe autonomous flight. HAVELSAN's closed-source autonomous flight control software manages the aircraft throughout its mission.
As a versatile VTOL UAV, BULUT supports defence, surveillance, security patrols and search-and-rescue, including ISR and infrastructure monitoring.
Nexon System supports the HAVELSAN BULUT across Southeast Asia with integration, commissioning, operator training and connection to your ground-control and monitoring systems, plus long-term support. Contact Nexon to design a surveillance or response mission set for this autonomous UAV.
