Cloud Ginger XR-1

Standing 1.6 m tall and weighing 65 kg, the Cloud Ginger XR-1 is a full-size service humanoid developed by Dataa Robotics of China. It is engineered for public-facing environments where a friendly, expressive machine can greet, guide and assist people while drawing much of its intelligence from the cloud rather than from onboard hardware alone.

The robot moves through 34 Smart Compliant Actuators (SCAs) that give its joints a soft, natural feel and make close human contact safe. Perception comes from layered 2D and 3D cameras, LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, an IMU, force sensors and microphone arrays, giving it broad awareness of people and obstacles. A cloud-based AI brain handles SLAM and VSLAM navigation, multi-round natural-language dialogue and multi-robot scheduling, so a fleet can coordinate across a site. A battery runtime of roughly 480 minutes supports long service shifts between charges.

As a versatile service robot, the Cloud Ginger XR-1 suits reception and concierge duties, patient guidance and companionship in healthcare, in-store product assistance and promotion in retail, and interactive teaching in education.
