Copperhead Series by Anduril is a family of high-speed autonomous underwater vehicles for rapid subsea missions, deployed and integrated across Southeast Asia by Nexon System.
Last updated: 25 Feb 2026
Built in the USA by Anduril, the Copperhead Series is a family of high-speed autonomous underwater vehicles, with the compact 100 variant weighing around 45 kg. The line is engineered for fast, agile subsea operations and can be configured for sensing or effector roles, giving operators a scalable set of vehicles from a single, coherent design lineage.
Copperhead uses direct-drive electric propulsion for quick, efficient movement and runs on Anduril's Lattice OS for autonomy, mission execution and fleet coordination. On-board compute is built on NVIDIA Jetson-class hardware, providing the low-power, high-performance edge processing needed for real-time perception and decision-making beneath the surface.
As a high-speed autonomous underwater vehicle, the Copperhead Series supports defence, inspections and surveillance. Its speed and modular payload options suit rapid subsea reconnaissance, infrastructure inspection and coordinated multi-vehicle operations, all manageable as a networked fleet rather than as isolated single units. Because the family shares a common design, operators can scale from a single vehicle to a coordinated group without retraining crews on entirely new systems.
Nexon System helps maritime and defence operators across Southeast Asia field the Anduril Copperhead, covering mission-system integration, fleet-coordination setup, operator training and sustainment. Talk to Nexon to plan a fast, scalable subsea capability built around coordinated Copperhead vehicles. Nexon can help design fleet workflows, integrate the platform with your maritime picture, and provide operator training and sustainment across the deployment.
