Overview

Xiaomi CyberDog is Xiaomi's open-source quadruped, created to put agile, programmable four-legged robotics within reach of developers and researchers. Compact at 0.4 m and 14 kg, it delivers dynamic, dog-like locomotion in an accessible, hackable package.

The platform is built for experimentation. An Intel RealSense D450 depth camera, an AI interactive camera and binocular vision enable autonomous mapping, obstacle avoidance and following, while it runs Ubuntu 18.04 with full ROS 2 support and open Python control, plus voice and app command. That openness makes CyberDog a favourite robot dog for building custom behaviours rather than being confined to fixed functions, and a capable quadruped robot for autonomy research.

It suits research and development, education, entertainment and light security patrol, where nimble legged mobility and open software matter most.
