Daimon One is a dexterous manipulation system from Daimon Robotics of China, centred on an advanced robotic hand with a remarkable sense of touch. It is designed for tasks where feeling the object matters as much as seeing it, giving robots the fine feedback needed to grasp, place and inspect delicate items.
The hand's fingertips carry integrated visual-tactile sensors that capture force fields, deformation and material softness or hardness at a 120 Hz sampling frequency, providing rich, high-resolution contact feedback. Six active joints driven by precise actuators produce smooth, coordinated finger movement, including thumb lateral rotation and flexion, with four-finger flexion speeds of up to 290 degrees per second. Its control software handles hand actuation and sensor integration, teleoperation data collection and motion mapping, and tactile-sensing algorithms that turn raw touch data into usable control signals.
