Built in China by Lenovo, the Daystar Bot GS is a six-legged mobile inspection robot standing 0.61 m tall and weighing 69 kg. Its hexapod design gives it stable, terrain-adaptive footing across demanding industrial and outdoor sites, letting it stay level and secure on ground that would challenge wheeled or even four-legged machines.
The Daystar Bot GS senses its environment with LiDAR and an HD camera, and walks on 18 electric joint motors that provide precise, coordinated multi-legged locomotion. On-board compute pairs an Intel Core i7 with an NVIDIA Orin NX for perception and autonomy, all under a closed-source control system, and the robot delivers around 240 minutes of runtime per charge for substantial inspection rounds.
As a legged inspection robot, Daystar Bot GS supports infrastructure monitoring, inspections, logistics and research. Its stability and sensing suit autonomous patrols, equipment and facility inspection and data collection across rugged, uneven or hazardous terrain, keeping personnel away from difficult and risky locations. For power plants, substations and heavy-industry sites, it can walk fixed inspection rounds on schedule and capture consistent readings that feed condition-based maintenance.
Nexon System deploys the Lenovo Daystar Bot GS across Southeast Asia, providing commissioning, inspection-route programming, data and monitoring integration, and operator training. Talk to Nexon to plan an autonomous, terrain-ready inspection deployment for your plant or infrastructure. Nexon connects its findings to your asset-management or monitoring platforms, defines safe patrol routes, and keeps the robot serviced for steady, long-term uptime.
