Overview

Digit by Agility Robotics is a bipedal humanoid engineered in the United States specifically for logistics and warehouse work. At 1.75 m and 65 kg, its most distinctive feature is a digitigrade, reverse-jointed leg design that lets it move naturally over stairs and uneven floors where wheeled machines struggle.

Thirty degrees of freedom are driven by custom electric actuators, with interchangeable end-effectors optimised for tote handling and a 16 kg payload. It walks at 5.4 km/h and runs four to eight hours depending on the task. LiDAR, Intel RealSense depth cameras, an IMU, gyroscopes, absolute and incremental encoders and force/torque sensors provide perception, while Agility OS, ROS2 compatibility, the Arc cloud fleet platform, NVIDIA Isaac Sim training and a Python and C++ SDK make it production-ready. It has already run in real Amazon pilot programmes.
