EngineAI JS01

The EngineAI JS01 is a rugged four-legged robot from China's EngineAI, built for adaptive, autonomous movement across challenging terrain in field and industrial settings. Its legged design lets it cross steps, slopes and debris that wheeled robots cannot manage.

It is equipped with LiDAR, wide-angle vision cameras, an Intel RealSense D435i depth camera and surround-sound speakers, and moves on EngineAI's proprietary full-stack integrated joint modules, all driven by a proprietary AI system on an open software platform with around 240 minutes of runtime. That combination of integrated sensing, capable actuation and open tooling defines a dependable quadruped robot for autonomous inspection and patrol that developers can also extend.

It serves education and research, infrastructure monitoring, inspections, logistics and emergency response, where terrain adaptability, autonomous navigation and the ability to carry sensor payloads are key. On a schedule it can walk fixed routes, capture readings and flag anomalies without human presence, and its surround-sound speakers also let it double as a mobile public-address or alert unit during patrols.
