Figure 01 is the inaugural commercial humanoid from Figure AI, the machine that launched the company's push into general-purpose bipedal robotics. Developed in the United States, it stands 1.68 m and weighs about 60 kg, and it became a landmark demonstration of language-driven autonomy in a walking robot.
It features 41 degrees of freedom driven by custom electromechanical actuators with external cable routing that later generations refined. The platform lifts up to 20 kg, walks at 1.2 m/s and runs roughly five hours per charge. Stereo cameras, microphones, speakers, an IMU and force/torque sensors feed a proprietary Figure AI stack, with OpenAI vision-language models supplying reasoning and speech-to-text so it can plan and narrate multi-step tasks.
As a research-grade Figure AI humanoid, it fits industrial automation research, warehouse logistics, AI embodiment studies and assembly tasks, and featured in the early BMW partnership pilot.
Nexon System supports Figure 01 across Southeast Asia with custom grippers and end-effectors, task programming, and integration with your logistics systems, plus training and support. To evaluate this pioneering humanoid robot for your operation, get in touch with Nexon.
