FirstLook 110

FirstLook 110 by Teledyne FLIR Defense is a small, throwable rugged unmanned ground vehicle for close-in reconnaissance and inspection, deployed, integrated and supported across Southeast Asia by Nexon System.

Last updated: 01 Feb 2026

Overview

Produced in the USA by Teledyne FLIR Defense, the FirstLook 110 is a compact, throwable unmanned ground vehicle weighing just 2.4 kg. Rugged and built to survive being tossed into buildings, tunnels or wreckage, it gives operators immediate eyes inside spaces that would be dangerous to enter blind, then keeps working after the impact.

It carries four fixed-focus near-infrared cameras for a 360-degree view together with two-way audio for communication or listening, and is driven by electric track motors with servo actuators for its manipulator. A closed-source uPoint Multi-Robot Control System handles teleoperation from a simple operator device, and runtime reaches around 480 minutes for prolonged observation or search tasks.

As a throwable unmanned ground vehicle, FirstLook 110 supports defence, reconnaissance and telepresence. It gives operators eyes and ears inside confined, cluttered or hazardous spaces from a safe standoff, supporting room clearing, tunnel checks, and inspection of structures that may be unstable or booby-trapped. Its low cost of entry and toughness make it practical to field in numbers, so teams can risk a robot rather than a person in the first look into a space.

Nexon System supports defence and security teams across Southeast Asia in fielding the Teledyne FLIR FirstLook 110, covering integration, operator training and support. Talk to Nexon to add a rugged, throwable reconnaissance robot to your team's kit. Nexon fits it into your entry and search procedures, trains operators, and keeps spares on hand so a working unit is always available for the next task.
