GAEMI (Outdoor) is an outdoor autonomous delivery and patrol robot from ROBOTIS in South Korea. Roughly 0.92 metres tall and 70 kg, it is a weather-capable wheeled platform built to operate reliably across outdoor hospitality, residential and campus environments.
Its sensing combines 2D LiDAR, ultrasonic and bumper sensors, RGB cameras and an RFID scanner integrated with robotic-arm vision, giving it robust obstacle avoidance and the ability to interact with infrastructure such as gates and lifts. Electric wheel-drive motors with torque control provide stable movement, an actuated arm supports infrastructure interaction, and closed-source AI pathfinding, deep-learning vision and obstacle avoidance guide autonomous operation. A runtime of around 360 minutes supports extended routes, and multi-compartment storage lets the ROBOTIS GAEMI carry several deliveries at once.
ROBOTIS aims the outdoor GAEMI at hospitality, logistics, security patrols and healthcare, where it can shuttle goods between buildings and perform routine patrol rounds in mixed indoor-outdoor settings. Resorts, gated communities and campuses can use it for parcel delivery, room service and perimeter checks without tying up staff.
