Developed in China by Zsibot, the Genisom M1 is a rugged quadruped robot standing 0.6 m tall and weighing about 30 kg. Engineered for demanding field environments, it combines four-legged agility with durable, industrial-grade construction, making it a dependable mobile platform where wheeled robots struggle with stairs, debris or uneven ground.
The M1 senses its surroundings with dual 96-line LiDAR, front and rear wide-angle cameras, ultrasonic sensors and RTK GNSS for precise outdoor positioning. It is driven by proprietary electric servos under a closed-source control system and delivers around 120 minutes of runtime per charge, giving it enough endurance to complete substantial inspection and mapping routes on a single deployment.
As an industrial quadruped robot, Genisom M1 supports logistics, inspections, search and rescue, and telepresence. Its sensing suite and rugged legs suit autonomous patrols, equipment and infrastructure inspection, site mapping, and access into rough or hazardous terrain that would be unsafe or awkward for personnel. For utilities, heavy industry and resource sites, it can repeat exacting inspection rounds on schedule, capturing consistent data that supports predictive maintenance.
