Overview

Developed in China by automaker GAC Group, GoMate is a third-generation wheeled humanoid standing about 1.7 m tall. Drawing on GAC's automotive-scale engineering and manufacturing capability, it uses a variable-wheel mobility system to move efficiently across floors while retaining humanoid dexterity, bridging the gap between wheeled robots and fully legged designs.

GoMate perceives its surroundings with a 3D vision system, LiDAR and multimodal sensing for environment mapping, obstacle detection and autonomous navigation. It uses miniature low-voltage servo drives under 30 mm tall with 20 A drive capacity supporting EtherCAT and CAN interfaces, while axial-flux motors deliver up to 1,000 N·m of torque with high torque density, all guided by the FIGS-SLAM spatial-intelligence algorithm and a cloud-based multimodal AI model, with roughly 480 minutes of runtime.

As a wheeled humanoid robot, GoMate supports security patrols, healthcare, logistics and education. Its dexterous hands and autonomous mobility suit patrolling, assistive and caregiving tasks, material movement and interactive roles across industrial and service settings throughout the region.
