Built in the USA by AeroVironment, the JUMP 20 Series is a modular vertical-takeoff-and-landing unmanned aircraft weighing around 97.5 kg. It combines runway-independent launch and recovery with fixed-wing endurance, letting operators fly long tactical missions from confined or austere locations where a conventional runway is unavailable.
The aircraft carries the ARCAM 45D long-range EO/MWIR sensor for tracking, stabilization and video processing, and is propelled by brushless electric motors. Its closed-source ACE Autonomous Control Engine delivers precise, self-directed launches and landings across varied environments without operator intervention, and endurance reaches roughly 780 minutes for extended time on station.
As a long-endurance tactical drone, the JUMP 20 Series supports defence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Its persistent multi-sensor ISR and runway independence suit border and coastal monitoring, force protection and wide-area reconnaissance across the region's dispersed and often infrastructure-poor operating areas. Its ability to launch and recover vertically from small clearings suits the region's dispersed islands, coastlines and remote sites where prepared airfields are scarce.
Nexon System supports defence customers across Southeast Asia in fielding the AeroVironment JUMP 20, covering ground-control integration, payload configuration, operator training and sustainment. Talk to Nexon to plan a long-endurance ISR capability that launches from almost anywhere. Nexon aligns it with your existing command and imagery workflows, trains your crews, and arranges sustainment for reliable long-duration operations. We can further help you plan basing, launch sites and recovery zones so the system fits the geography you actually operate in.
