LG CLOiD

The LG CLOiD is a domestic humanoid from LG Electronics of South Korea, a 1.43 m robot conceived around the company's vision of a 'Zero Labour Home' in which everyday chores are handled autonomously. It is designed to blend into a modern household and cooperate with the connected appliances already in it.

It moves on LG's in-house electric actuator, the LG Actuator AXIUM, and is governed by LG's Physical AI stack together with its Affectionate Intelligence and the ThinQ integrated platform, all kept closed source. That tight integration of proprietary actuation with home-focused AI positions it as a consumer-oriented home robot that is meant to interact naturally, understand context, and orchestrate the appliances around it rather than work in isolation.

It is intended for cleaning, cooking and kitchen preparation, general home assistance and hospitality, taking over routine domestic tasks such as folding laundry, unloading dishes and managing appliances. In premium residential and hospitality settings it can shoulder the repetitive housekeeping that otherwise consumes staff time.
