MATRIX-1 is a 1.8 m, 67 kg humanoid from Matrix Robotics of China, built for demanding industrial and service work at human scale. Its tall, capable frame and dexterous hands make it a strong candidate for tasks that mix mobility with careful manipulation.
The robot has 22 degrees of freedom and walks at up to 7.6 km/h, powered by Matrix's self-developed motors and actuators with an impressive peak torque density of 196 N·m/kg for wide, human-like joint motion. Perception combines high-definition stereo-vision cameras for object recognition, a noise-cancelling multi-microphone array and force sensors in the hands for controlled contact. Its AI software handles perception, reasoning, motion planning, force-position hybrid control for dexterous manipulation, and natural-language processing, with a battery runtime of around 300 minutes supporting long shifts.
As a versatile humanoid robot, MATRIX-1 suits warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and age-care tasks that combine autonomous movement with precise handling. Its speed and torque let it cover ground quickly while still manipulating objects with care.
Nexon System deploys the Matrix Robotics MATRIX-1 across Southeast Asia, providing commissioning, manipulation and task programming, and integration with WMS, MES and facility systems for coordinated operation. Each project includes operator training and continuing support and maintenance, so industrial and service customers can move from trials to dependable everyday use.
