Mini Hi is a small-scale humanoid from China's High Torque Robotics, standing around 0.82 m tall and weighing roughly 10 kg. Compact yet richly articulated, this humanoid robot gives researchers and educators a full upper-and-lower-body platform at a size and price that are far more manageable than a full humanoid.
Motion comes from 23 degrees of freedom driven by High Torque's self-developed joint motors, which produce peak torques of up to 16 Nm for smooth, powerful and precise movement. Sensor packages are customizable to each application, and the control software accepts custom algorithms while remaining compatible with common robotics middleware and simulation tools, with APIs exposed for motor control.
With that articulation and torque density, the robot is a strong choice for whole-body locomotion and manipulation research, robotics education and interactive entertainment.
