Overview

Mini π is a compact bipedal platform built by High Torque Robotics in China. Standing about 0.59 m tall and weighing roughly 7 kg, this small bipedal robot was created to make walking-robot research and development accessible without the cost and bulk of a full-scale humanoid, putting dynamic locomotion within reach of more teams.

It walks on 12 degrees of freedom powered by High Torque's proprietary articulated motor series, which delivers precise, high-torque, smooth motion control tuned for dynamic bipedal locomotion. The platform carries payloads up to 5 kg and moves at speeds up to 1.5 m/s. Sensor integration is flexible: IMUs, force sensors and vision systems can be added to match each project, and the control software supports custom stacks alongside common robotics middleware and simulation tools.
