Packbot 525

Made in the USA by Teledyne FLIR Defense, the Packbot 525 is a rugged, man-transportable unmanned ground vehicle roughly 1.78 m long and weighing 26.3 kg. A proven and widely fielded battlefield design, it balances portability with a capable manipulator arm, letting a single operator carry it forward and put a robot between themselves and a threat.

Packbot 525 carries three HD cameras, two-way audio and a laser range finder for situational awareness and measurement, driven by electric track motors and servo-actuated arms that let it climb stairs and manipulate objects. It is teleoperated through the closed-source uPoint Multi-Robot Control System and delivers around 480 minutes of runtime for extended missions.
