Phantom

Phantom is a full-scale humanoid engineered by Foundation Robotics of the United States, presenting a human-like frame of roughly 1.75 m and 80 kg that lets it operate in the same spaces, doorways and around the same equipment that were built for people. Rather than a fixed cell, it is conceived as a mobile, general-purpose worker that can be redeployed as production needs change.

The platform perceives its surroundings through a multi-camera vision suite and moves on proprietary cycloid actuators prized for high torque and back-drivability, which together give it smooth, compliant motion under load. A closed proprietary hybrid AI stack coordinates its perception, balance and decision-making in real time, and these are the hallmarks of a capable humanoid robot built for demanding, human-scale work.

Its remit spans factory production support, warehouse and logistics handling, defense-oriented duties and remote telepresence, wherever fluid, precise movement is required in unstructured environments. In practice that means tending machines, moving parts between stations, and standing in for people on tasks that are dull, dirty or unsafe.
