Overview

Psi V1 is a 1.75 m, 150 kg wheeled humanoid from PsiBot of China, built around a strong, stable base and an AI architecture aimed at reasoning through complex manipulation tasks. Its substantial frame gives it the stability to work steadily through long, demanding sessions.

The robot's arm ends in a six-dimensional force sensor for fine contact control, and its perception combines three RGB-D cameras with five fisheye cameras for wide, detailed awareness of its surroundings. While specific actuator figures are not disclosed, its motor control is precise enough to support dexterous manipulation of small objects, illustrated by tasks such as handling Mahjong tiles. Its open-source software uses a hierarchical end-to-end AI architecture with a reinforcement-learning-based control system, APIs for autonomous manipulation and reasoning, and simulation tools. A battery runtime of about 600 minutes supports very long shifts.

As a capable service robot, Psi V1 suits manufacturing, retail, logistics, education and entertainment. Autonomous navigation and multi-skill manipulation let it take on varied complex tasks, and its reasoning-oriented AI makes it interesting for both applied work and research into embodied intelligence.

Nexon System deploys the PsiBot Psi V1 across Southeast Asia, providing commissioning, skill and task programming, and integration with production, retail and facility systems and data pipelines. Each project includes operator training and continuing support and maintenance, so customers can extend the robot's skill set over time. Talk to Nexon to scope an autonomous-manipulation pilot.
