PUDU D5

The PUDU D5 is an all-terrain quadruped from Pudu Robotics in China, a 0.57 m, 61 kg platform that combines legs and wheels so it can roll efficiently on smooth ground yet step over obstacles and climb stairs when needed. This hybrid locomotion is its defining strength for mixed indoor-outdoor sites.

Perception comes from dual 192-line LiDAR sensors, four fisheye cameras and a six-microphone array, giving it dense 360° awareness, while electric high-torque motors with closed-loop torque control drive its hybrid leg-wheel movement. An onboard NVIDIA Orin and RK3588 dual-processor architecture delivers up to 275 TOPS of AI compute, and the pack sustains around 150 minutes of operation, together making it a powerful and perceptive quadruped robot for autonomous work.

It is suited to inspection and infrastructure monitoring, logistics and payload transport, security patrols, research and interactive education, where its terrain versatility and rich sensing let it cover ground people find awkward. Fixed patrol routes, anomaly detection and scheduled rounds are natural fits.
