SANCAR

SANCAR is an armed autonomous unmanned surface vessel from HAVELSAN of Turkiye, designed for maritime defence and reconnaissance. Weighing around 9,000 kg, it is a substantial platform engineered to operate independently across open water on combat, surveillance and port-security missions.

It runs on dual diesel propulsion engines with a waterjet propulsion system for high-speed, shallow-water manoeuvrability. A comprehensive maritime sensor suite includes navigation radar, an Automatic Identification System, a Gyro INS, a GPS compass, an anemometer, GNSS, forward and aft navigation cameras, CCTV and a speed log. Command and control run on the closed-source ADVENT Combat Management System, enabling C2 integration and network-centric operations, with modular weapons options for the vessel's assigned role.

As a naval unmanned surface vessel, SANCAR is suited to defence and reconnaissance duties, including maritime combat, coastal surveillance and port protection.
