Overview

Meet Sirius, a palm-sized robotic dog from Hengbot that packs expressive, lifelike movement into a body of just 1 kg and about 0.26 m tall. As an interactive quadruped robot, it is designed to feel more like a companion than a machine, blending play, learning and experimentation in a single compact platform.

Sirius moves through 14 degrees of freedom driven by Hengbot's proprietary Neurocore actuators, which deliver quiet, fluid leg and head motion. An 8 MP camera supports vision and interaction, a microphone array handles voice recognition and sound localization, and a head-mounted touchscreen offers direct control. Power lasts around 120 minutes per charge. Its open software spans a drag-and-drop visual programming environment, Python, C and C++, and OpenAI API integration for expressive, conversational behavior.
