TangPa, model TP-01, is a compact bipedal service robot from the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center (CHRIC) in China. Standing 0.85 m and weighing 34 kg, it is sized and styled for public-facing roles in tourism, retail and live events, where an approachable, walking presence draws attention.
Its 16 degrees of freedom are driven by electric actuators, with a battery supporting about 180 minutes of operation. The Standard version adds LiDAR and depth cameras for spatial awareness, while the closed-source R-PAN proprietary system delivers autonomous outdoor navigation, backed by an in-house fleet-formation and synchronized-choreography control platform running on Horizon compute for group displays.
As a crowd-friendly service robot, TangPa suits advertising and branding, corporate events and exhibitions, education, entertainment and hospitality.
Nexon System deploys the CHRIC TangPa across Southeast Asia with custom outdoor navigation maps, event choreography, multilingual content and integration with your venue systems, plus staff training and support. Reach out to Nexon to plan an activation with this bipedal service humanoid.
