Tesla Optimus (Gen 3) is Tesla's bid to turn the AI and manufacturing expertise behind its vehicles into a mass-produced, general-purpose humanoid. Standing 1.73 m and weighing roughly 62 kg, Optimus is designed to move through the same spaces people do and take over the repetitive, physically demanding work that wears human teams down.
Its intelligence is inherited from the automotive side of the business: a Full Self-Driving–derived neural network handles navigation and decision-making, while eight camera views provide vision-based perception and fingertip tactile sensors give the hands the force feedback needed for careful manipulation. Because the platform is built for volume production rather than one-off research, Tesla's stated goal is a price point low enough for broad industrial and eventually domestic adoption.
In practice, Optimus targets manufacturing lines, warehouse and logistics flows, and general home-assistance and research use — anywhere a flexible pair of hands and a walking base can absorb routine labour.
Nexon System positions Optimus for enterprise buyers across Southeast Asia. Our team manages the full deployment lifecycle: on-site installation and safety fencing, environment mapping, task programming for your specific stations, and integration with existing MES, ERP and warehouse systems, backed by ongoing calibration and 24/7 remote support. If you are evaluating humanoid automation for a production or fulfilment site, Nexon can scope a pilot and a fleet roll-out around your throughput targets.
