TITA is a wheeled-bipedal robot from Direct Drive Tech in Hong Kong. About 0.39 metres tall and 24.1 kg, it balances on two wheeled legs, blending the agility of a legged machine with the efficiency of wheels for nimble movement through varied environments.
The Direct Drive Tech TITA carries a 10 kg payload and senses its surroundings with two built-in cameras, two SPAD single-photon avalanche-diode sensors, an ultrasonic sensor and two inertial measurement units, giving it robust 3D terrain awareness. Its quasi-direct-drive joint modules deliver high peak torque of 120 N·m for smooth, precise motion. The open software runs on NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX with ROS 2 middleware and includes the TITA Cognition AI system for perception and decision-making, with APIs for customisation and secondary development.
Direct Drive Tech targets inspections, logistics, surveillance and infrastructure monitoring, where TITA's balance, terrain awareness and autonomous decision-making let it patrol, carry loads and gather data across dynamic sites. Its wheeled-bipedal design makes this inspection robot agile in tight, changing spaces such as corridors, plant walkways and crowded facilities where wider platforms cannot manoeuvre.
Nexon System deploys TITA across Southeast Asia, providing commissioning, route and task programming, integration with your monitoring or logistics systems, and operator training with ongoing support. We map the environment, define autonomous inspection or transport routes, and connect the robot's data feeds to the tools your team already uses. Talk to Nexon to scope a TITA deployment for your operation.
