Tora One

Tora One is a 1.86 m humanoid from PaXini of China, distinguished by an exceptional sense of touch. Where many robots rely mainly on vision, Tora One adds dense tactile perception so it can handle objects with a delicacy closer to a human hand, opening up tasks that demand careful contact.

The robot integrates 1,956 multi-dimensional tactile sensors spanning 7,824 tactile channels, along with five HD monocular cameras, two depth cameras, LiDAR and laser SLAM for full environmental awareness. Motion comes from high-precision rotary motor-driven actuators across 47 degrees of freedom, including 13 in each hand, enabling both powerful and finely controlled manipulation with strong repeatability. A battery runtime of roughly 480 minutes supports extended work periods, while software fuses visual-tactile multimodal perception with motion control, voice interaction and autonomous navigation.

As a dexterous humanoid robot, Tora One is suited to manufacturing assembly, healthcare tasks, logistics handling, construction support and retail operations that demand careful, repeatable object manipulation.
