Unitree A2 is a 37 kg industrial quadruped with dual-LiDAR 360° perception, 25 kg payload and long range for inspection and logistics — deployed for autonomous patrols by Nexon System.
Last updated: 21 Aug 2025
Unitree A2 is Unitree's industrial-grade quadruped, engineered for demanding real-world work rather than the lab. At about 0.82 m and 37 kg, it combines high-speed, agile locomotion with the endurance and payload needed for serious field deployment.
The platform is built for autonomy and carrying capacity. Dual LiDAR units provide full 360° spatial awareness, an HD camera supports visual perception, and a ROS-compatible control system with AI navigation lets A2 run routes on its own. With a 25 kg payload and a long operational range on a roughly five-hour battery, it can carry substantial sensor or tool packages across a shift. As a rugged industrial quadruped robot, A2 is designed for continuous duty, and as a capable inspection robot it reaches places wheeled platforms cannot.
It fits inspections, infrastructure monitoring, logistics, search and rescue and research, where mobile, all-terrain sensing is essential.
Nexon System deploys A2 across Southeast Asia for industrial inspection and monitoring: payload integration, autonomous route setup, data integration with your SCADA or CMMS, and full support. To trial autonomous quadruped inspection, ask Nexon.
