Overview

Unitree H1 is a full-size, high-performance humanoid aimed at dynamic locomotion research and demanding demonstration work. At roughly 1.8 m tall yet a lightweight 47 kg, it pairs a tall human-scale frame with high-torque joints that let it walk briskly, balance under disturbance and move at speeds above 1.5 m/s.

The robot is engineered for agility and perception rather than heavy payload handling. High-torque actuators drive its legs and arms for powerful, responsive motion, while a Livox MID360 LiDAR and an Intel RealSense depth camera provide 360° spatial awareness for mapping, navigation and obstacle avoidance. As with the rest of Unitree's line, H1 is ROS-compatible and exposes APIs and SDKs for navigation, perception and control, making it a practical base for teams developing their own locomotion and autonomy algorithms.

Typical use spans research and development, education, retail and exhibition engagement, and inspection scenarios where confident bipedal mobility matters more than industrial lifting.
