XGO Mini is a compact AI-powered quadruped from Luwu Intelligence in China. Tiny at roughly 0.18 metres tall and just 0.9 kg, it is a desktop-scale robot dog built to make robotics, coding and AI accessible in classrooms, labs and homes.
The Luwu XGO Mini offers 12 degrees of freedom driven by twelve serial-bus metal-gear servos that deliver high torque and precise joint articulation, supporting omnidirectional movement and six-dimensional posture control. A 9-axis IMU, joint-angle position sensors and current sensors provide comprehensive feedback, and around 60 minutes of runtime suits lessons and demos. Its open-source embedded AI SDK adds visual, voice and gesture recognition, and it supports both graphical Blockly and text-based Python programming for learners at every level.
Luwu targets education, entertainment and research, where the XGO Mini's low cost, expressive movement and dual programming environments make it ideal for teaching robotics fundamentals, running interactive demonstrations and prototyping behaviours.
