Y10

Y10 is a compact, modular quadruped from Yobotics in China. At about 0.3 metres tall and just 10.5 kg, it is a lightweight, highly portable platform aimed at developers, researchers and educators who want an agile robot they can extend and reprogram.

The Yobotics Y10 is driven by integrated brushless servo motors with planetary reducers that deliver large torque and fine control, giving it responsive, precise mobility. Its sensing centres on joint encoders and inertial sensors that support feedback control, and around 80 minutes of runtime suits development sessions. A closed-source secondary-development sandbox, with APIs and interfaces for custom walking algorithms and behaviours, makes it a flexible base for experimentation and rapid iteration.

Yobotics targets research, inspections, entertainment, education and mining, where the Y10's small size, agility and openness to custom code let teams prototype locomotion, run demonstrations and perform light inspection tasks.
